Born in New Zealand, Peter has lived across the ditch in sunny Queensland, Australia for over 20 years now. A budding athlete in his teenage years, Peter represented Queensland in Basketball and attended prestigious schools such as John Paul College, Brisbane Boys College and the Toowoomba Grammar School on scholarship. Attending Brisbane’s QUT School of Management Peter is completing his degree part time while focusing on running his growing business.

In 2007 I started on a somewhat childish and difficult task of making myself the “best looking man in Brisbane.” Another local Brisbane SEO Peter Newsome stumbled upon this site which looked like this back then. He then wrote about it on a guest post on popular SEO site SEOMOZ here and the competition gained traction for a while as a bit of fun as more Brisbane SEO consultants tried to outrank me. The profile building competition with other Brisbane Search Engine Optimization consultants to see who can be listed as the best looking guy in Brisbane has kind of become my claim to fame when it comes to doing SEO work in some regards with people often overlooking more impressive commercial work to show interested parties that competition. I have even been publicly recognized as the best looking man in Brisbane (scary) which you can read about here. I guess the one take away from all this childish fun is that if you are working with the two time (2007, 2008) Google and Yahoo “best looking man in Brisbane” winner then you are working with someone who can put forward the best image for your business.
