New Wordpress Back End
So the latest version of Wordpress features a newly designed back end layout. While it may take a bit of getting used to the new Wordpress appears to offer superior features for Web Development and Search Engine Friendly content management. I personally like the soothing light blue graphics and I am impressed on how fast everything loads and how streamlined it is.
Here are some of the new features I like:
- Fast loading
- Write Section comes in built with Excerpt Editor
- SEO Plugins fit straight into Write Screen making it dangerous for SEO savvy bloggers
- Links Page allows you to choose the relevancy of the link (i.e. rel=”bestlookingguyinbrisbane”)
- Links can be categorized
- Many more yet to be discovered
I still haven’t transfered this blog over to the new Wordpress mainly because I wanted to be able to compare the two, however I highly recommend upgrading to the new Wordpress. It’s good to see software developers that are consistently developing their software to fulfill the needs of their users. If only commercial entities would take the same approach the world would be a better place.
In other news I recently found out that I have been voted by Google as one of the “Best Looking Men of All Time” which is a great honour. I ask whoever has a crush on me at Google to please show their face, as long as it isn’t Matt Cutts that is!
Also congratulations to the players of the Boston Celtics, clearly the superior team in the NBA finals this year and Paul Pierce a deserved Finals MVP…
